Expected DA from January 2013 = 8%

             As per AICPIN data,      DA would be 8% from January 2013. The DA is 72% in total from July 2012 onwards, now it would be 72%+8%=80% from January 2013.  So we can expect announcement from the Government in the middle of March to increase of 8% Dearness Allowance from January 2013 onwards. However we have to wait upto March for Government order for final confirmation.            Note :  In a major development, the Union Cabinet on 01.02.2013 Friday surprisingly approved 8% hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees and pensioners.
