FNPO decided to go on Strike on 16.3.2017.

NAPE Group-C (FNPO) decided to go on Strike on 16.3.2017. In the PJCA held on 19/12/2016 the NFPE appealed the FNPO to participate in the strike notice given by the confederation for the demands relating to CG employees. The FNPO affiliates refused to participate the call given by confederation in Feb 2017 thereafter postponed to16/3/17. Thereafter they appealed to participate along with PJCA. The FNPO made clear that for the demands of postal employees who are the part of the CG employees to consider giving a separate notice on the same day in March 2017. Accordingly the NAPE gr c on 7/2/2017 in its policy and program unanimously decided, in future to go with NJCA for 7th cpc related issues and with PJCA on sectional demands. RBI raised withdrawal limit from savings banks accounts to Rs 50,000 from Rs 24,000

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said on Wednesday it would remove the cash withdrawal limit from ATMs and savings accounts from March 13. Cash withdrawal limit from savings bank accounts will be relaxed to Rs 50,000 from February 20 to March 13, after which it will be removed, RBI deputy governor R Gandhi said after the monetary policy meeting. Several limits on cash withdrawals from banks and ATMs were imposed after the government’s surprise move to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 on November 8, 2016. Earlier, on January 30, RBI had allowed withdrawal upto Rs 24,000 from savings accounts. This was preceded by the relaxation on January 16 when the limit was raised to Rs 10,000 per day from Rs 4,500. The government has been saying the amount of currency in circulation would remain...

NEW DELHI: Non-filers of income tax returns will now face a steep fine. For people earning below Rs 5 lakh, filing returns after July will attract a fine of Rs 1,000 and those with earnings above Rs 5 lakh would face a fine of Rs 5,000. “Those who have an income over Rs 5 lakh and file returns after July but till December will face a fine of Rs 5,000. This fine will be raised to Rs 10,000 if the return is filed after December,” revenue secretary Hasmukh Adhia said at a post-budget event organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.  At present, there is no fine if the returns are filed with a delay within the assessment year, but a penalty of Rs 5000 could be imposed if the filing was after it. "The total amount pending from January 1, 2016 should be given to the employees. But we are not sure whether they would release the arrears as well," Shiv Gopal Mishra said. New Delhi, Feb 3: Central Government employees are expected receive their hiked allowances from the month of April.
