11th Asian Pacific Postal Union Congress was held in New Delhi from 3rd to 6th September2013.
On 3rd September2013 Hon’ble
President of India inaugurated the congress. Smt.Killikiruparani,
Hon’ble Minister for State lighting the lamp along with the President of
India. Secretary, Department of Post Mrs.P.Gopinath welcomes the
gathering. Out of 32 member countries 28 countries were participated.
On second day i.e. on 4th
September2013, 16 countries presented report on Postal Activities. The
main discussion was focused on Digital Post, e-commerce and e-business.
On third day i.e. 5th
september2013the Financial inclusion was discussed. RBI Deputy General
Manager initiated the discussion by presenting a paper. Post Bank,
