No merger of DA - Finance Ministry

Finance Ministry once again ruled out any possibility of merger of D.A. with basic pay for central employees. In a letter addressed to National Council Secretary Shri Shiva Gopal Mishra on 17.6.2014, regarding the main demand of merger of dearness allowance with basic pay, Govt sticked on the resolution taken on 29.08.2008 in respect of definite proposal of sixth pay commission (No merger of D.A.).  This has been a long standing demand for central employees and it will certainly dishearten them. அஞ்சல் துறை ஊழியர்கள் பரஸ்பர இடமாறுதல் (Mutual Transfer) வேண்டி வேறு ஊரில் பணிபுரியும் ஊழியர்களை அணுகும்போது, அவர்களிடம் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட சில ஊழியர்கள் லஞ்சம் கேட்பதாக புகார் எழுந்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவின் பழைமையான துறைகளில் அஞ்சல் துறையும் ஒன்று. இந்தியா முழுவதும் சுமார் 4.5 லட்சத்துக்கும் அதிகமான ஊழியர்கள் அஞ்சல் துறையில் பணியாற்றி வருகின்றனர். இதில் துறைசார் ஊழியர்களும், EDS எனப்படும் கூடுதல் துறை ஊழியர் களும் அடக்கம். தமிழகத்தில் மட்டுமே அஞ்சல் துறையில் 30,000-த்துக்கும் அதிகமான ஊழியர்கள் பணிபுரிகின்றனர். வேறு ஊரில் வேலை இதில் வட்டம், மண்டலம், பிரிவு, இணை என பல்வேறு வகையான அலுவலகங்கள் இயங்கி வருகின்றன. இவற்றில் அஞ்சல் உதவியாளர்கள், கணக்கர்கள், பல்பணி ஊழியர்கள் (multi tasking staff) என்று பல மட்டங்களில் ஊழியர்கள் பணி செய்து வருகின்றனர். அஞ்சல் துறையால் நடத்தப்படும் தேர்வுகளின்...
