On 16-10-12, Chief PMG [Addl] Smt.Hilda Abraham had talks with the
Circle JCA on Strike Notice. Sri.J.T.Venkateshwarlu DPS Hqrs was
present. After the discussions the Circle office issued orders containing following points on Postal Training Centre.
1) Dress code wearing shoes, white dress for yoga classes will not be insisted
2) Yoga is optional
3) Including soft skills Training schedule will be 7 hours.
4) Permission to leave the Headquarters will be granted on Sundays and holidays
5) MACP Training batch to be commenced from 15-10-12, which was already deferred to 22-10-12 will be rescheduled in a later date. But the MACP Training which was originally scheduled to commence on
29-10-12, Subsequently changed to 5-11-12, again re-arranged to commence from original date of 29-10-12
6) The other problems including complaints against DPS,Southern region will be looked in to .
On getting these issues clinched, the Circle JCA met and unanimously decided to defer the Strike of 18-10-12. There fore Circle union conveys that there is `NO Strike`on 18-10-12, and conveys whole hearted greetings to those who had stood with the Circle JCA on all these days.
