Bengaluru:
- Services at Majestic set to resume by 4 pm. Buses have started leaving for the airport from Majestic.
- Around 15 Volvo buses and BMTC buses were damaged in stone pelting incidents in and around the city following which bus services have been completely withdrawn.

Normal life partially affected in West Bengal
- Train services of South Eastern railway were normal although Eastern railway officials said suburban services in the Sealdah south section were hit for sometime in the morning due to blockade at some places.

- The nation-wide 24-hour strike called by major Central trade unions, barring BMS, is total in Kerala.

113 lakh employees from the public, private and foreign banks are joining the nationwide strike called by trade unions to protest the “anti-labour” policies of the Narendra Modi government.

2“Around 13 lakh employees and officers from 25 public sector banks, 11 private sector banks and nine foreign banks will be on strike tomorrow,” All-India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) said.

3Besides these banks, employees from 56 regional rural banks, 650 cooperative banks, the Reserve Bank, Nabard and Sidbi will also be on strike.

4In all, 14 unions representing bank employees and officers will be supporting the day-long stir called by 10 Central trade unions.

5Bank unions are also protesting against the government’s plan to revamp the working of the public sector banks. “We will fight against the government’s backdoor attempts to hand over public sector to corporates,” they said.

6The trade unions have given the strike call over a 12-point charter of demands, including withdrawal of the proposed “anti-worker” amendments in labour laws and stopping the disinvestment and privatisation of PSUs.

9Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, however, said in New Delhi that he expects the impact to be minimal. “I don’t think essential services will be affected by the strike. I feel that the impact will not be much.”

10Union leaders, however, said the strike will affect the functioning of essential services like banking, transport and supply of power, gas and oil.

                  FNPO affiliated unions Divisional /Branch/Circle secretaries are organised successful strike across the country. Though our Federation issued strike notice in the last minute our colleagues made the strike successful  in the base.
                During Verification process our sister unions played all sort of misdeeds in the Branches / Divisions this has resulted in wide gap between sister unions and us.
                Our Federation explains the reasons for participating 2 September 2015 strike to the colleagues through circulars and e mails.   Some of the colleagues are not agreeing with Federation but organized strike well in their Circle/Divisions/Branches. Our Federation conveys its sincere thanks to all our colleagues to made the strike success.

தன்னெழுச்சியுடன் நடைபெற்ற வேலை நிறுத்தம்

         மத்திய அரசின்  தொழிலாளர் எதிர்ப்பு கொள்கைக்கு  எதிராக அனைத்து தேசிய தொழிற்சங்ககள் மற்றும் நமது FNPO சம்மேளனத்தின்  அறைகூவலின் படி இன்று  செப்டம்பர் 2 ஒருநாள் அடையாள வேலைநிறுத்தத்தில் தேசம் முழுவதும் பல கோடி மக்கள் தன்னெழுச்சியுடன் பங்கேற்று வருகிறார்கள். குறிப்பாக நமது நெல்லை கோட்டத்தில் சுமார் 95 சதவிகிதம் அஞ்சல் துறை ஊழியர்கள் பங்கேற்று வருகிறார்கள்
        
     இன்று காலை 1000 மணிக்கு திருநெல்வேலி தலைமை அஞ்சலகத்தின் முன்பு வேலைநிறுத்த ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. அதில் பெருந்திரளான தோழர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். 
                      வருகிற அக்டோபர் மாதம் 21 யில் பணிநிறைவு பெறப்போகும்  நமது தேசிய சங்க GDS ஊழியர் தோழர் D.செய்யது  அஹமது கபீர் அவர்கள் எவ்வித பிரதிபலனையும் எதிர்பாராது தேசிய சங்க அறைகூவலுக்கு  இணங்க இப் போராட்டத்தில் கலந்து கொண்டார்கள் அவர்களுக்கு நமது சிரம் தாழ்ந்த வணக்கங்கள்
