To
The Managing Director,
Chennai Metro water & sewerage board,
Chinthadripet,
Chennai- 600002
Sir, Sub: Problem in supply of drinking water in
Teynampet Dr.Subbarayan Nagar
P&T staff quarters – kind intervention is requested for cause of
supply of water
The
drinking water through lorries was being supplied to Teynampet Dr.
Subbarayan Nagar P&T staff quarters from Metro water for the past
several years.
Now the metro water authorities are telling that, hereafter they cannot
supply
the drinking water through Lorries of 9000 litres as supplied hitherto
by them.
Instead, they are firmly telling that they can supply only in Lorries of
large
containers having capacity of 20000 litres. The problem is, a big
tamarind tree
standing on the side of approach road to
quarters is making hurdle to the moving of big container lorry in to the
quarters. The removal of a tree involves lot of procedures and difficult
and
not immediate possible.Till such time nearly 200 families consisting
more than 1000 people will have to
suffer without drinking water.
As
the drinking water problem is becoming so acute day by day in Teynampet P&T
staff quarters our employees Union on
behalf of residents request the MD to
kindly issue orders to concerned authorities for the continued regular supply
of drinking water[Metro water]as done so far by using normal size containers to
the Teynampet P&T staff quarters, so that the residents will be getting
immense relief.
with kind regards
Yours Sincerely
G.P.Muthukrishnan
Circle
Secretary
