According
to Rule 10(6) and 10(7) of CCS (CC&A) Rules, 1965 suspension of a
government servant has to be reviewed within 90 days and action such as extension
of the suspension or revoking the suspension of employees has to be taken
immediately
CGDA instructs to Review Suspension of Government Servant before
expiry of 90 days
Ministry
of Defence D(Vigilance)observes that the suspension order has been struck down
on the ground that the same had not been reviewed by the reviewing authority
before expiry of 90 days. CGDA requests instructs all Defence Departments that suspension of Govt.
servants may be reviewed on monthly basis to suspension orders being struck
down in court of law.
