Sub: Conversion of Temporary posts into permanent ones up

to the level of Deputy Secretary in Ministries/Departments.

Your kind attention is invited to the letter cited.

In our department, nearly 800 to 950 temporary status casual labours are working. The Department is paying them on par with MTS. These officials are working in Functional Justification Posts for nearly 10 years.

 It is, therefore, requested that Directorate may kindly issue necessary instructions to the all heads of circles where there are temporary status casual labourers that while converting temporary posts into permanent, these officials may kindly be considered.
