Respected Sir,

                Sub :      Grant of Pension to the family of deceased employees coming under NPS – Reg.
                                                                                                -----
                This is regarding grant of Pension to the family of deceased employees coming under New Pension Scheme.

                The family members, in case of death of an employee, can choose to opt for the benefits offered under CCS [Pension] Rules, 1972 in lieu of surrendering the accumulated Pension wealth in NPS.

                Likewise, DCRG becomes eligible to all employees covered under NPS on par with other employees covered under CCS [Pension] Rules, 1972 vide DoPT letter No. 7/5/2012-P&PW(F)/B dated 26.08.2016.

                Both the above OMs are received at Divisional level on 17.05.2017. Despite the fact, the family of the deceased employees who opted out to obtain Pension in lieu of accumulated Pension wealth in NPS, the Provisional Pension are not sanctioned to them by the PSAs on the plea that they become eligible for Pension only after the accumulated Pension wealth in NPS are transferred to the Govt. accounts.

                This is a long drawn process and the family of the deceased employees is doomed to suffer without any monetary support. Hence, they require Provisional financial support to which they are due as per CCS [Pension] Rules, 1972. Even as per the DoPT O.M. No. 38/41/08 P&PW(A) dated 09.05.2009, the family of the deceased employee under NPS can be given Provisional Pension subject to adjustment in the final settlement.

                Hence, it is requested that the family of the deceased employees under NPS may kindly be given Provisional Pension under CCS [Pension] Rules, 1972 for six months without waiting for the transfer of the accumulated Pension wealth from NPS.

                Likewise, the DCRG due to the such of the above officials may also kindly be settled in accordance with the CCS [Pension] Rules, 1972 and in as much as the DCRG has no link with NPS related wealth.

            On behalf of Department of Posts, I hereby appeal to you to call off the proposed programme of action w.e.f. 27.06.2017 as no useful purpose is served by such Dharnas/agitations.

2.         The issues submitted by the Federation are under active consideration of the Department. Moreover, at a time when the Department is going through a complete IT makeover such agitation will only allow to strengthen the hands of our competitors which agreeably is not in the overall interest of the Postal Department. The proposed programme of action may, therefore, be called off.

FNPO stand on 7th cpc issues

FNPO stand on 7^th cpc issues

Our federation is receiving phone calls, emails & SMS from our members questioning the further steps on7th CPC issues.

 On seeing the Government's decision on allowances FNPO called its cadres to hold a demonstration on 10/07/2017 in front of all Divisional offices to register our protest.

We are only minor partners in the NJCA. We cannot do major role independently. We have done our duty in the past, such as Protest week 12 to 19/12/2016, Memorandum to the Governor, the Prime minister & One day strike on March 16^th 2017. We have done our duty. We cannot do more at this stage except a protest demonstration in front of  all Divisional offices on 10/07/2017 against the Government's decision on allowances.

Let us hope that NJCA leaders will convene a meeting shortly to decide the further course of action.

ஆதார் அட்டைகளில் திருத்தங்கள் இருந்தால் இனி வரும் காலங்களில் மாவட்டம் தோறும் உள்ள அஞ்சல் அலுவலகங்களில் சரி செய்யலாம் என மத்திய அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது

ஆதார் திருத்தங்கள் சரி செய்வதற்கு மக்கள் மிகுந்த சிரமத்துக்கு ஆளாகி வருகின்றனர். இதனைக் கருத்தில் கொண்ட மத்திய அரசு, ஆதார் அட்டையில் உள்ள திருத்தங்களை மாவட்டம் தோறும் உள்ள அஞ்சல் அலுவலகங்களில் மேற்கொள்ளலாம் என தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
தமிழகத்தில், ஆதார் அட்டையில் திருத்தங்கள் மேற்கொள்ள முதற்கட்டமாக சென்னையில் உள்ள பத்து அஞ்சல் அலுவலகங்களில் புதிய வசதி ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அதன்படி, சென்னையில் உள்ள சென்னை தலைமை அஞ்சல் அலுவலகம், அண்ணாசாலை தலைமை அஞ்சல் அலுவலகம், தியாகராய ‌நகர் அஞ்சலகம், மயிலாப்பூர், பரங்கிமலை, பூங்கா நகர், அசோக் நகர் உள்ளிட்ட பத்து அஞ்சலகங்களில் முதல்கட்டமாக ஆதார் திருத்தங்கள் மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன.
மத்திய அரசின் இந்த புதிய நடைமுறை, நாளை (திங்கட்கிழமை) முதல் சென்னை பெருநகரத்தில் அமலுக்கு வரவுள்ளது.
இதைத்தொடர்ந்து, தமிழகத்தில் பிற மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள 2,515 அஞ்சல் அலுவலகங்களிலும் இந்தப் புதிய நடைமுறை விரைவில் அமலுக்கு வரும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
