TN JCA DECISION ON RECORDED MINUTES AND AFTERMATH

11.10.2012 இல் அறிவிக்கப் பட்டபடி  வேலைநிறுத்தம்

         05.10.12 அன்று காலை  தொழிலாளர் நல ஆணையர் முன்னிலையில் நடைபெற்ற  பேச்சு வார்த்தை  குறித்தும் , பின்னர் மதியம் அதன் மீதான  CPMG, TN  உடன்  நடைபெற்ற இரு தரப்பு பேச்சு வார்த்தை குறித்தும் நமது  FNPO வலைத்தளத்தில் பிரசுரிக்கப் பட்டிருந்தது. திங்கள் அன்று  பேச்சு வார்த்தையின் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட MINUTES COPY  கிடைத்தவுடன்  இதன் மீதான  அடுத்த கட்ட நடவடிக்கை குறித்து JCA  கூடி முடிவெடுத்து அறிவிப்பதாக  தெரிவித்திருந்தது.

தடம் மாறும் ஊழியர்கள்  -
தொழிற்சங்க போட்டிகள் ஆரோக்கியமாக உள்ளதா ?

           கடந்த சில தினக்களுக்கு முன்னால் ஒரு மொட்டை கடிதம் சில ஊழியர்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளது.  அதில் குறிப்பாக SPOs, ASPOs(HQ), SC/ST மற்றும் சில பெண் ஊழியர்கள் மீது சேற்றை வாரி இரைக்கும் முயற்சிகள் நடைபெற்றுள்ளன.  தங்கள் சுய லாப நோக்கில் நமது சக பெண்  ஊழியர்களையும்  விட்டு வைக்காமல் தவறான பாலியல் சிந்தனையோடு குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன.
                மொட்டை போடும் யாரும் தங்கள் பெயரை போடுவதில்லை. ஆனால் இந்த புத்திசாலிகள் (?) தங்களை ஒரு அணியினராக காட்டியுள்ளனர். இவர்கள் அதிலும் தங்கள் எதிரணியினரை கேவலபடுத்த அவர்கள் பெயரை போட்டுள்ளனரோ என ஐயப்பட தோன்றுகிறது.
இது இன்று நேற்று அல்ல . திருநெல்வேலிக்கு இது புதிதும் அல்ல
ஆனால் இது முடிவாக வேண்டும் என்பது நமது விருப்பம்
கோட்ட நிர்வாகம் தக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கும் என  ஊழியர்கள் குறிப்பாக பெண் ஊழியர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றனர்.

STRIKE TALKS WITH CPMG

                     At 15.30hrs on 5-10-12, Talks on Strike Notice with Chief PMG Ms.Hilda Abraham held. DPS[Hqrs] Sri.J.T.Venkateswarlu also participated. All Circle secretaries of JCA participated. Unions were sticking to the demands of Strike notice. Chief PMG after the discussion, finally announced that she will order for free and fair enquiry on the complaints against the PTC Director Ms.Nirmala devi. Enquiry will be conducted at the Circle office,Chennai. Based on the findings of the enquiry an appropriate action will be taken with out any hesitation, again on 16-10-12 we will have a meetings to discuss about the findings of the enquiry report.Meantime , the Chief PMG will go to Madurai on 9-10-12 and discuss all these issues with Director, PTC and DPS southern Region.
                Our JCA insisted pending enquiry the Director PTC must be transferred, this was not accepted by Chief PMG, telling that without enquiry these are not possible.Then JCA insisted if transfer is not considered  theDirector PTC may be asked to on leave. This was also not accepted by the Chief PMG on the same grounds. Then JCA met and decided to put a demand that till the enquiry is over Mid-Career development  training's must be stopped . Then JCA leaders met the Chief PMG and the Madam agreed to this demand. Recording all these items the minutes will be supplied by the Circle office on Monday on 08-10-2012.
On getting the Minutes the Circle JCA will take final decision on the Strike.

STRIKE TALKS WITH LABOUR COMMISSIONER

Conciliation on Strike Notice held on 5-10-12 at Shastri Bhavan Chennai in the presence of Sri.P.Sivarajan,
Assistant labour commissioner[c]. Sri.M.Natchimuthu, AD SR&WLF,participated on behalf Chief PMG.
All Circle secretaries of the JCA participated. ALC finished his first round of Conciliation with an advise to the Chief PMG to have a bi-lateral discussions immediately with the unions to resolve the issues of Strike
Notice.

Demonstration in Madurai

                As per the Call of Circle JCA,  in the evening on 5-10-2012, a Massive Demonstration was conducted in front of the Regional office, Madurai against the atrocious and savage treatment meted out to the officials by the Director, Postal Training [ Torture ] Centre, Madurai and DPS Southern Region. More than 400 officials including100Women from the Madurai,Theni,DindigulSivaganga,Virudhunagar, Kovilpatti,Tuticorin, Tirunelveli  etc.of Southern region ferociously participated in the Demonstration .
Leaders of the FNPO,NFPE,GDSUnions  G.Baskaran, K.Narayanan, S.Thiagarajan S.Pandian, S.Sundaramurthy, M.muthusamy, N.J.Uthayakumaran,R.Ganesan, Jacobraj, K.V.Rajan addressed the gathering, focussing the atrocities of these two officers and demanding with the appropriate disciplinary actions on these two inhuman officers. When the demonstration was going on ,Circle JCA got the information that the Police force was called in by the DPS Madurai not to allow to conduct the Demonstration.By this time as the discussion was going on by Circle JCA with the Chief PMG Ms.Hilda Abraham on Strike Notice, the Circle JCA immediately informed this matter to the Chief PMG, Madam in turn immediately called the DPS Southern Region and gave strict instructions that no police action should be there at Madurai  for conducting Demonstration. Then the JCA Leaders from Madurai immediately informed us Police left the Place. For this effective intervention we conveyed thanks to the Chief PMG. Circle JCA,  salutes the Sothern Region JCA Leaders for having organised such a heroic Demonstration.

               On 04-10-2012 at 19hrs  the campaign meeting was conducted at Trichy HRO for organising the Strike on 11-10-2012. 

               In that meeting Circle secretaries Mr.G.P.Muthukrishnan, Mr.P.Kumar, Mr.K.Gunasekar, Mr.G.Anthony, Mr.V.Sivakumar, Mr.P.Kothandaraman, [all from FNPO ], and Mr.J.Ramamurthy,Mr.K.Sankaran [both from NFPE],      addressed for insisting effective participation in this strike to contain the high handed and atrocious attitude of some of the officers especially of Ms.Nirmaladevi, Director PTC Madurai.

இதனை நாம் ஏற்று நடத்திடலாம் ! ஆனால் , நாளை  ஒவ்வொரு ஊழியரும்  தனது  ஊதியத்தில் RELIANCE COMPANY இன் தங்கத்தை  அந்தந்த அஞ்சலகத்தில் மாதா மாதம்   வாங்க வேண்டும்  . இல்லையென்றால்   உடன் தண்டனை கொடுக்கப் படும் என்பார் !. 

பிரிதொரு நாள் ,  அஞ்சலகத்தில்   எல்லோரும் ' CHOTTU KOOL'  கட்டாயம் வாங்க வேண்டும் என்பார் ! இல்லையென்றால் தண்டனை என்பார் !

STRIKE 11-10-2012- NOTICE SERVED

                 As already decided by circle JCA, the Strike notice for one day Token strike on 11-10-2012 was served,signed by all circle secretaries, to-day[25-9-12] to the Chief PMG, Tamilnadu Circle for the settlement of following demands.
1) An enquiry at Directorate level and by CBCID is demanded to probe the death of Sri.       N.Jayakumar,  Trainee, at PTC Madurai and the role of DPS Southern Region in this regard who has surpassed his administrative jurisdiction.
2) The Director PTC, Madurai should be transferred out of Circle immediately, in order to have a free and fair enquiry, with appropriate disciplinary action.
3) DPS Southern region should also be transferred out of circle who is colluding with Director PTC Madurai in victimising the employees,his presence in Madurai will spoil the free and fair enquiry. in this case.
The Circle JCA leaders met the DPS Hqrs to-day [25-9-2012 ], and handed over the Strike notice.
 

             In the meantime the wife of late Sri.N.Jayakumar, Smt.J.Premavathi and family members preferred a complaint to the Chief minister`s special cell, State human rights commission, Director General of police and All india SC/ST Cell requesting them to render justice on her husband`s death.

7% DA HIKE for CGE

Cabinet approved 7% hike in DA for central government employees
NEW DELHI: The Cabinet on Monday approved a hike of 7% in dearness allowance (DA) for central government employees. This means, the DA will now be 72 per cent from the current 65 per cent of basic pay.   
This will benefit about 50 lakh employees and 30 lakh pensioners across India. Last time the government increased the DA was in March 2011 which came into effect from January 1, 2012.  The current hike will be effective from July 1 this YEAR 2012

STRUGGLE AGAINST THE ATROCITIES OF PTC DIRECTOR

Struggle against the atrocities of Madurai PTC Administration

            We have been representing so many times about the harassment of trainees by PTC administration, particularly by the Director PTC, Madurai Ms. Nirmaladevi. Despite our representations no action was taken against the Director PTC either by the Circle administration or by Postal Directorate.
       Now, one MACP Trainee committed suicide at PTC on 19-9-12.
Under the banner of JCA FNPO and NFPE decided protest actions to take stringent action against PTC Director , demanding her transfer and also with suitable action. As a first phase of action the lunch hour demonstration on 20-9-12 was conducted in front of the CPMG office by all circle unions and the memorandum was given requesting the CPMG insisting the above demand.

         On 21-9-12, for the same demand one day token fast was observed by all circle secretaries along with the divisional secretaries and office bearers, the hunger strike was concluded by the Secretary General FNPO Sri.D. Theagarajan, who had issued message to the directorate on 20-9-12 demanding the suspension of the Director, PTC and further disciplinary action.

Our Federation reported arrogant attitude of Director PTC Madurai to Member (HRD) &DDG (TRAINING)),  Tamilnadu circle unions conducted Dharna AAA.  our repeated requests were not considered by the administration this has resulted  in one official committed suicide in the PTC Madurai on 19/09/2012 AAA. FNPO demand from beginning to end investigation on this AAA.Till such time Director PTC Madurai should  be suspended  immediatelyAAA.

'PERIYAR' E.V.Ramasamy's Birth Anniversary

We remember 'Thanthai Periyar' E.V.Ramasamy in his 123rd Birth Anniversary

               Periyar propagated the principles of rationalism, self-respect, women’s rights and eradication of caste. He opposed the exploitation and marginalisation of the non-Brahmin indigenous Dravidian peoples of South India and the imposition of, what he considered,Indo-Aryan India.
