Strike called off

Based on the written assurances given by the Secretary (P), and also on the assurance that a meeting with Minister(s) will be arranged shortly, the Central JCA has decided to call off the proposed indefinite strike from 17.01.2012.

• As per the information received from the CHQ, the department has agreed not to implement the MNOP, ie. L1 and L2 in respect of RMS, for the next three years.

• The department has assured the staff side that the cadre restructuring will be finalized within 3 months.

• Moreover, the good news is that the Secretary (P) has assured to enhance the ceiling of bonus for GDS from Rs. 2500/- to Rs. 3500/-.

CENTRAL JCA MET ON 11.01.2012 UNANIMOUSLY DECIDES TO GO AHEAD WITH THE INDEFINITE STRIKE MAKE THE STRIKE CENT PERCENT SUCCESS

We are in receipt of encouraging reports from various circles and divisions about the mobilization by grass root level workers and leaders for the total participation of employees in the Indefinite Strike from 17th January 2012 as per the call of Central Joint council of Action (NFPE, FNPO & GDS Unions)

Inspite of our vehement opposition the Postal Board is adamant on implementing Mckinsey consultancy reforms (L1, L2) in RMS. Further regarding closure/merger of Post offices, they are violating the earlier assurances and going on justifying the merger of Post office. On other demands assurances given in July 2011 is repeated and no result oriented action is forth coming.

In these circumstances the Central JCA meeting held on 11.01.2012 has unanimously decided to intensify the strike preparations and go on indefinite strike from 17th January 2012.

Indefinite strike: No progress in the discussion

A marathon discussion was held between the JCA leaders and the Department on 10.01.2011. The discussion started by 11 AM and lasted upto 9 PM. But there was no much progress in the discussion.

However the discussion will continue in the upcoming days also. In the meantime, a meeting of the central JCA leaders will be held on 11.01.2012 at 11 AM at the FNPO CHQ office, to discuss about the strike and allied matters.

The Government has agreed in the Anomaly Committee to give increment

 The National Anomaly committee was held on 5/01/2012 as scheduled.
        The Government has agreed in the Anomaly Committee meeting to grant one increment on 1.1.2006 in the pre-revised scale of pay for all those whose increment falls between 1st Feb and 30th June 2006. This is applicable only for those who were in service as on 1.1.2006. They will draw their next increment in the new Pay Band on 1st July 2006.

மூன்றாம் நாள் நிகழ்ச்சிகள்

                          தொடர்ந்து நடந்த Subject  Committee விவாதத்திற்கு பிறகு மாநில செயலாளர் திரு முத்துகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்கள் பதிலுரை அளித்தார்கள்.
அப்போது இயக்கம் வளர கோட்ட செயலாளர்கள் செய்ய வேண்டிய பணிகளை விவரித்தார்கள். FNPO சங்கத்தின் தோற்றம் மற்றும் வளர்ச்சியையும் தலைவர் KR அவர்களின் பங்களிப்பையும் நினைவு கூர்ந்தார்கள். தனது இரண்டு ஆண்டு கால இயக்க பணிகளையும் நினைவு கூர்ந்தார். தனது பணிகாலத்தில் செய்த பணியினை பாராட்டிய  பல்வேறு கோட்ட செயலாளர்களுக்கு  நன்றியை தெரிவித்தார்கள்.
குறிப்பாக March 8 ல் பெண் ஊழியர்களுக்காக CCL கிடைக்கும் வரை தூத்துக்குடியில் உன்னாநோன்பு இருக்க முயன்றதையும் அதற்கு முன்பாக CCL வழங்கிய தூத்துக்குடி SSPO அவர்களையும்  அதனை தொடர்ந்து தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் பெண் ஊழியர்களுக்கு CCL கிடைத்ததையும் அது முற்றிலும் தேசிய சங்கத்தின் வெற்றி என பிரகடனபடுத்தினார்.இவ்வாறாக தனது சுமார் 2 மணி 15 நிமிடங்களுக்கு தனது நீண்ட பதிளுரையை தந்தார்.
அதனை தொடர்ந்து மதிய உணவு இடைவேளைக்கு பிறகு அவை தொடர்ந்தது.

மாநில மாநாடு பல்வேறு தீர்மானங்களை ஏற்றியது . பின்னர் மாநில நிர்வாகிகள் தேர்வு நடைபெற்றது .
 தலைவராக திரு இராம சந்திரன் அவர்களும்
திரு முத்துகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்கள் மாநில செயலாளராகவும் ஒரு மனதாக தேர்தேடுக்கபட்டனர். மாநில நிர்வாகிகள் பட்டியல் Circle Union என்ற தலைப்பில் காணலாம்.

                                      காலை  1000 மணி  முதல்  தொடங்கிய  subject committee விவாதத்தில்  ஏறக்கொறைய  50 கோட்டங்களின்  சார்பாளர்கள்  உரை  நிகழ்த்தினர் . சுமார்  12 மணிநேரம்  எவ்வித    கூச்சல்   குழப்பம்  இன்றி  மிகவும்  அமைதியாக  ஜனநாயக முறைப்படி விவாதங்கள் நடந்தன . இன்றைய  இலாகாவின் பிரச்சனைகள்  குறித்து  பேசினார் .

குறிப்பாக  மதுரை  கோட்ட  செயலாளர்  திரு  அய்யலு  அவர்கள்  SB minus balance பிரச்சனைகளை ஊழியர்கள் படும்  அவதிகள்  குறித்து விளக்கினர் .

கரூர்  கோட்ட செயலாளர் திரு சுகுமார்  அவர்கள்  தலைவர் KR அவர்களுக்கு தபால்  தலை  வெளியீட  சம்மேளனம்  முயற்சி  எடுத்திட  கோரிக்கை  விடுத்தார் .

நமது  திருநெல்வேலி  கோட்ட  செயலாளர் திரு இராம  சுப்ரமணியன்  பல்வேறு  பிரச்சனைகள் குறித்து தனது  கருத்தை  பதிவு  செய்தார். அவற்றில் சில.

• வட்டி  விதிதங்களை  நிர்ணயிக்கும்  உரிமை  – பொதுத்துறை  நிறுவனங்களை  போல  அஞ்சல்  இலாகாவிருக்கு  வழங்க   வலியுறுத்த  வேண்டும் 
• பழுதடைந்த  computer printer களுடன்  போராடும்  அலுவலங்களுக்கு  புதிய  computer printer வழங்க  வேண்டும் 
• PLI RPLI Decentralised காரணமாக  ஏற்பாடும்   சிரமங்களுக்கு தீர்வு ஏற்படுத்த  வேண்டும் 
• பணி வழங்க படாமல்  இறுக்கும்  RRR Candidates பிரச்சனைகளுக்கும்  உடனடி  தீர்வுவாக  பணி  வழங்க  பட  வேண்டும் .

(அதற்கு பதிலுரையில் நமது  மாநில  செயலாளர்  ஏறக்குறைய  95 பேரில்  70 க்கு  மேற்பட்டவர்களுக்கு   நமது  தேசிய  சங்கத்தின்  தொடர்  போராட்டத்தின்  மூலம்  Chennai நகர  மண்டலத்தில்  பணி  வழங்கிய  திரு ராமானுஜம்  PMG அவர்களுக்கு  நன்றியை  தெரிவித்தார் . மற்றவர்களுக்கும்  விரைவில்  பணி   கிடைக்க ஆவணம்  செய்வதாக  உறுதி  யளித்தார்கள் )

• IP examination க்கு LGO exam  கொடுத்தது  போல  புதிய தேர்வு முறையில் Extra வாக 2 Chances வழங்கப்பட  வேண்டும் 
• IP examination க்கு PM Cadre officials க்கு தேர்வு எழுத  வாய்ப்பு வழங்கப்பட வேண்டும் .
• Postmaster Cadre க்கு Cadre Restructring ன் போது Grade Pay 4200 பெற்று தர  சமேளனத்தை கேட்டு கொண்டார் 
• LR பணியிடங்கள்  கண்டறியபட்டு LR List  வெளியிடப்பட  வேண்டும் 
• குறிப்பாக தெற்கு  மண்டலத்தில் PM Cadre பணி இடங்களில்  தடாலடி  இட மாறுதல்  தடுத்து  நிறுத்த  பட  வேண்டும் 
• எல்லா  போரட்டமும்  குறிப்பிட காலவரையுடன்  நடைபெற வேண்டும் என்றும்  அதன்மூலம்  போரட்ட முறைகள்  கால  சுழலுக்கு  ஏற்ப  மாற  வேண்டிய  அவசியத்தை வலியுறுத்தினார்

என்பது  போன்ற  பல்வேறு பிரச்சனைகள்  குறித்து  தனது கருத்தை தெரிவித்தார் .

 காலை தேசிய கொடியும் மற்றும் சங்க கொடியேற்றத்துடன் தொடங்கியது. மாலை 4 மணிக்கு ஊர்வலமும் அதனை தொடர்ந்து பொது அரங்க நிகழ்ச்சியும் நடந்தன.

திரு இராமச்சந்திரன் மாநில தலைவர் அவர்கள் தலைமை வகித்தார்.
வரவேற்புரையை வரவேற்புககுழு தலைவர் நிகழ்த்தி னார்  .

துவக்க உரையை மாநில செயலாளர் திரு G.P. முத்து கிருஷ்ணன் அவர்கள் நிகழ்த்தினார்.
அப்போது இந்திய பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியில் பொதுத்துறை நிறுவனங்களின் பங்களிப்பையும் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் விளக்கினார்  .  நிறுவனத்தின் தற்போதைய நிலைமையையும் அதே சமயம் நமது நிலையையும் அதற்கு நமது சங்கங்களின் பங்களிப்பையும் விளக்கினார் .
அரசின் புதிய பென்ஷன் திட்டத்தை கடுமையாக விமர்சித்தார்.
                                                                    அதனை தொடர்ந்து நமது சகோதர சங்கங்களின்                                                                                                                        மாநில நிர்வாகிகள் பலரும் உரை  நிகழ்த்தினர்.

குறிப்பாக வருகின்ற தொடர் வேலைநிறுத்த போராட்டத்தின் காரணம்,சூழ்நிலையை விளக்கினார் .  தொடர் வேலைநிறுத்த போராட்டத்தின் அவசியத்தையும் விளக்கினார்.
                       உலகளாவிய  postal மாற்றம்  அதனை  தொடர்ந்த  தாக்கம்  குறித்தும்  பேசினார். Relocation of Postoffices, அதற்கு  இலாகா  கொடுத்த  உறுதிமொழி   அதனை  தொடர்ந்து   இலாகாவின்  செயல்பாட்டில்  மாற்றம்.  கொடுத்த  உறுதிமொழியை  காற்றில்  பறக்க  விடும்  இலாகா  குறித்து  தனது  அதிருப்தியை  வெளிபடுத்தினார் . 
முதல்  நாள்  நிகழ்ச்சி  இனிதே  நிறைவுற்றது .

நவம்பர் மாதம் வரை DA 6 % உயர்வு

All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers on Base 2001=100 for the Month of November 2011

All India Consumer Price Index Number for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) on base 2001=100 for the month of November, 2011 increased by 1 point and stood at 199 (one hundred & ninety nine) .

During November, 2011, the index recorded maximum increase of 12 points in Mysore centre, 5 points each in Madurai and Puducherry centres, 4 points in Coimbatore centre, 3 points in 2 centres, 2 points in 14 centres, 1 point in 11 centres. The index decreased by 5 points in Lucknow centre, 4 points in Faridabad centre, 3 points in 4 centres, 2 points in 10 centres and 1 point in 15 centres, while in the remaining 16 centres the index remained stationary.

The maximum increase of 12 points in Mysore centre is mainly on account of increase in the prices of Rice, Wheat, Arhar Dal, Groundnut Oil, Garlic, Vegetable items, Clothing items, Flower/Flower Garlands, etc. The increase of 5 points in Madurai centres is mainly due to increase in the prices of Goat Meat, Poultry (Chicken), Fish Fresh, Eggs (Hen), Tamarind, Vegetable & Fruit items, Coffee Powder, Flower/Flower Garlands, Washing Soap, Washing Charges, etc. In Puducherry centre the increase of 5 points is the outcome of increase in the prices of Rice, Goat Meat, Fish Fresh, Vegetable items, Tea (Readymade), Firewood, etc. The increase of 4 points in Coimbatore centre is due to increase in the prices of Goat Meat, Eggs (Hen), Onion, Vegetable items, Bidi, Cigarette, Medicine (Allopathic), Hair Oil, Cinema Charges, etc. The decrease of 5 points in Lucknow centre is mainly due to decrease in the prices of Vegetable Items, Primary School Fee and Primary School Books, etc. The decrease of 4 points in Faridabad centre is due to decrease in the prices of Wheat Atta, Pure Ghee, Garlic, Ginger, Vegetable & Fruit items, Electricity Charges, etc.

The indices in respect of the six major centres are as follows :
1. Ahmedabad – 192
2. Bangalore – 200
3.Chennai – 180
4. Delhi – 182
5. Kolkata – 189
6. Mumbai – 201
The point to point rate of inflation based on CPI-IW(General) for the month of November, 2011 is 9.34% as compared to 9.39% in October, 2011. Inflation based on Food Index is 7.61% in November, 2011 as compared to 8.72% in October, 2011.
